How we make money

This site is free to use. As of 26 August 2026, it earns nothing. There are no affiliate links on any page, no provider pays to be listed, and no submission has been passed to a provider or an attorney. The research here has been funded out of pocket.

Where this is going

That is not a permanent state of affairs. The intended model is the ordinary one for a site like this: affiliate links to providers, and introductions for readers who ask to be contacted. When the first of those goes live, this page changes on the same day and says which links earn a commission.

We are writing it down now, before there is any money in it, because a disclosure written after the fact is worth less than one written before.

What it will change when it does

Which links can earn us a commission. That is the whole list.

What it will never change

• The prices we publish, which come from sources we cite.
• Which centers are listed — they are compiled from public directories, and no center pays to appear.
• The order providers appear in, which is set by coverage and cost, not by commercial terms.
• What we write about a provider, including the criticism.
