Legal requirements

Anything we state about a term, a breath threshold or a reinstatement step is sourced from the state agency that sets it, and carries a link to that source and the date it was checked. If we have not checked it, we say the section is being verified rather than filling it with a plausible number.

Prices

A fee is published only with a source and a check date. Provider quotes vary by state and by center, so we present ranges as ranges and never present one center’s quote as a national price.

Center listings

Compiled from providers’ public location directories, normalised to unique physical addresses. Listing a center is not an endorsement of it, and centers do not pay to appear.

Rankings

We rank on countable things — state coverage, number of certified centers, and full-term cost once verified. We do not run a star rating we cannot show the working for, and payment never affects position.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, tell us and we will fix it and note what changed. Data that turns out to be stale gets removed rather than left standing.
